Ok. You do realize that the IDF is not the ONLY defense force in the region? International law recognizes the legitimacy of irregular resistance forces in conflicts. Groups such as Hamas and all the others are legitimate defense forces for the Pals even if some of the combat tactics those groups use are not.
Using your quoted assertion, their purpose too is to "kill the enemy, and demoralize their people" until Israel stops attacking them. So why is it ok for Israel to use any and all means at their disposal, but not ok for the Pals to respond with any and all means available to them?
By the way, occupation is also consider "attack" under international law, and resistance to same is consider quite legal. The Pals in the West Bank and Gaza have a legal right to resist Israeli occupation, even with violence. |
