Exactly. All inflict unacceptably indiscriminant harm to civilian casualties. Use of such weapons, whether by a "duly formed military" or by resistance forces irregular or otherwise, should be considered illegal and the users of same brought up on war crimes charges in The Hague.
After all, the issue is indiscriminate harm to non-combatant civilians. There is no difference between "their" civilians and "our" civilians when it comes to international law.
The Red Cross and various other human rights organizations are bang on in exposing the atrocities committed by all sides in this and other conflicts. |
