| because there is none and there will be none: 1) because of Israel`s weak leadership, which is dependent on a ragtag coalition government of right-wing clericalists, pensioners who want to increase their old-age allowances, and hangers-on; and 2) because of the PLO`s weak and corrupt leadership which, on the one hand, says it wants peace and, on the other hand, sponsors, or at least does not prevent, acts of terror. I say recognize two Palestinian states: the State of Gaza and the State of the West Bank, with its capital in Ramallah. |
