If find it ironic and depressing that the same people who scream about democracy are willing to substitute it for a tyranny if it will advance their short term political goals. Are we to "refrain from non-democratic means" to change our government when it feels it can throw away the rule book when it doesn`t suit them?
Either non-violent change of a democracy or violent change of a tyranny. Sounds terrible but it is the truth. |
