Isn`t is strange that Jordan is urging the U.S. to pressure Israel to stop the strikes but says nothing about the Hamas terrorism, i.e. Qassam rockets targeted at innocent civilians, the suicide bombing that Hamas is taking credit for. Well, not so strange; after all, Jordan can`t be expected to take an even hand because it`s an Arab nation.
General Jones should respond by asking the Jordanian Foreign Minister why Israel should stop striking at those who commit acts of terrorism against their nation. Would Jordan sit and do nothing if terrorists attacked their kingdom. Nations have the right to fight terrorism. But then again, here we see the same Arab double standards that you see applied against Israel at the U.N. |
