If Hamas wanted a cease fire, why didn`t it simply cease its fire? Israel already made all the concessions it could reasonably make, while Hamas made zero concessions. What more could Hamas possibly want? (I know it`s a rhetorical question).

You seem to imply that Israel continues to occupy Egypt and Jordan. That is simply not true, because a part of either peace treaty stated that all territorial claims between the countries were resolved.

Israel`s policy of war is working (see the post after yours). It would`ve worked even better if Israel took the necessary, hard measures, but the international community has been against resolving the problem in favor of Israel- preferring instead that Israelis and Palestinians both continue to suffer.
