| Its very simple. Hamas has offered a hudna, a cessation of hostilities. Certainly, any sane person would recognise that as preferable to ongoing hostilities. It would mean a cessation of targeted assasination carried out by Israel and a stop to qassams being fired into Israel. It would provide a more fertile ground for future communication and discussions. Israel has made peace with Jordan and Egypte and they are not threatening israel, even while Israel continus its occupation. You cxlaim "humane" does not work during a war. But your policy of war is not working either. It only brings about more bloodshed and that is clear for all to see, and more bloodshed can only lead to yet more bloodshed. Nothing gets solved except the generals and inept leaders swagger a bit more as more innocents get ground up as they play their war games. |
