| When I patrolled Gaza city I knew it wasn`t to protect the settlers, but the rest of Israel. Now that the Palestinians democratically elected leadership is in charge, rockets hit all the settlers in the western negev, from sderot to ashkelon, and even the settlers in not so far off dimona are being attacked. Why didn`t the government hold a popular referendum before abandoning Gaza? |
