| Calling Albania a muslim state is simply wrong and misleading. The Albanian state is secular. Also, the remark that 70% of Albanians are suni is completely incorrect. This percentage is derived from the religious census made in 1930! Even back then, a large part of those 70% were bektashi(not suni). Nowadays, the majority of Albanians are atheists or agnostics (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Albania). |
