| From where I sit the war was successful for Israel in that it sent a very clear message to Israel`s enemies: cross a line with us and you will suffer! Hiz and Nassrellah thought the line was in one place and Omert thought it was in another. Nevertheless, the message was sent loud and clear. Moreover, whoever is paying to reconstruct those parts of Lebanon that Israel bombed have doubtless told Hiz "don`t cause Israel to bomb again and destroy everything we are paying for/building or we won`t put up anymore money for this." |
