| The secular Turks demonstrating here do not see that they are paranoide about the head scarf and that keep banning it will only lead to more tensions and rifts in Turkish society. There is nothing wrong with the head scarf, sometimes it can be even quit sexy, although I know that is the opposite of the bearer`s intention. But i do support Dutch legislation to forbid the burka, when their is only a small strip before the eyes and the whole body (including the head) is covered in a huge tent. What do you think of that? |
