Have you actually seen the site with your own eyes, or are you making your statement from studying maps and photographs? The answer is rather obvious, since you wouldn`t make your comment if you had actually been there. Improving access in any other direction would require destroying buildings where people actually live and work, or would have to go through the Temple Mount itself. Do your homework properly next time.
