Silverstein is one of the least respected members of the Jewish blogosphere, and his hypocrisy here is only matched by his limitless ego.
Indeed, there is a need for a robust Jewish and Israeli blog scene, but there is hardly a need for someone whose postings could all have been read in anti-Zionist publications that are already on the Web and done more professionally. The pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel points of view get more than enough airplay without a blowhard like Silverstein to add to the noise.
Luckily, there are no shortage of Jblogs that amuse, entertain and inform without the vitriol and without the egos. |
