| I suspect that Israel`s Arab citizens need to be treated as equals more than they need a catchy tune. The last 30 years have seen an increasing marginalization and degradation of Israeli Arabs. I remember how they rallied to the national cause during the Yom Kippur War. But then they didn`t have politicians out to make them targets for hatred and racism. |
