It fails to state any of the conditions of the women`s work: for whom; black market or registered; legal business or illegitimate and so on.
This is, in its present state, just more grist for the Israel Haters` mills.
I see Aran working in regular jobs all over T-A: one of the doctors I see in my clinic is Arab; girls behind tills in shops; people I interact with within my industry, and they work happily alongside Jewish/Christian colleagues and receive exactly the same treatment.
This is not a pandemic situation in Israel.
Clearly exploitation of workers is wrong in every way and must be addressed and the exploitative businesses brought to task, but equally bad reporting must be addressed and the perpetrators held accountable. |
