The author`s suggestion may be a constructive one. I am not sure.
But the fact is at present the leaders of the Arab community in Israel are daily displaying treasonous behavior of a kind which in any sane country would have them behind bars. Whoever heard of someone sitting in a country`s Parliament praising the enemy killing the soldiers and citizens of the country?
The weakness of the court and criminal system in dealing with this kind of seditiious behavior has simply encouraged and augmented this treason.
The fact is at this juncture a good share of what used to be called Israeli Arabs are in their hearts and minds( and for some in their actions) for dissolution of the State.
This will always be the case so long as they fail to recognize the right of the Jewish majority to define the character of the State. |
