A number of years ago, while living in Israel, I received a call from the U.S., a close relative had died--They would delay the funeral for my arrival--The earliest flight out that would get me there in time was via Lufthansa--I told the person that called me that I would not fly on a German Airline--He understood--I got back to the U.S. a day late, in time for Shiva-- No, I have not forgotten the 6 million--Personally I feel that any Jew who lives in Israel must have a rather queasy feeling about living in that atmosphere of anti-semitism--Yes,it could happen again, starting in the very same place that initiated the Holocaust--Just think, even in death, they destroy your cemeteries and headstones--No rest anytime or anyplace, no peace of the grave-- |
