| I really appreciate that some of you took the time to read the articles on the `breaking the silence` website. I also expected the responses would be much like they were. I have said my opinion many times before on Haaretz and it is evident that I will always be outnumbered with opposing opinions. Nobody in their right mind believes that the Palestinian authority is not full of corruption, you would be a fool to think otherwise. But to sit there and believe that Israel is the sufferer, the unfortunate, the pure, the humane nation that most of you preach, in my eyes would be equally as foolish. Why is it that you think Israel is the one which retaliates and not the Palestinians? What truly amazes me is the complete stubbornness from some of you who have such a strong opinion on what goes on in the territories yet have never spent a night there (without a battalion with you and an M16 propped on your shoulder). Live there for a week and lets see if you`ll have such strong opinions then. |
