The IDF has degenerated to a bunch of goons, where everyone does what he wants.
The cheapest would be to completely destroy the IDF and build it up completely new.
The question remains if a state as small as Israel can afford such an army or not, I`d rather say not. Not even the current military help from abroad will suffice.
Israel will come to the realision that it can not stand alone to defend itself(and therfore is insufficient to fulfill its very cause d`etre), but the only capable military organisation to reinforce the security of israel will never do so.
Why? Well the NATO cannot support an permanent occupation and is bound to follow international laws wich the israeli refuse to do(as well as the US, only they are capable of staying alone, even as they do not) |
