Fadi... it certainly does bother Muslims a non-Islamic people has sovereignty over a land that was never part of the Islamic domain. G-d didn`t intend for any other nation but the Jewish people to return to Eretz Israel. The fact is no non-Jewish nation has ever taken root in the Holy Land and even the Palestinians are largely a by product of the success of Zionism. Which you hate but can`t bring yourself to concede made Arab nationalism possible.
The two sides are irreconcilable because for Jews, the Jewish State is non-negotiable. That and not a denial of Palestinian rights is what keeps the conflict alive. Its existential and not about borders, territories or the settlements.As long as the truth is not acknowledged by the Arab side, all the negotiations and goodwill in the world will lead nowhere. |
