| Shmuel Rosner refused to post a very respectful, civil toned message that I had sent the other day, pointing out that only one out of four (at best!) is a registered Republican, and make up only 2-3% of Republican voters in Florida. Furthermore, Giuliani was running Spanish language ads in Florida, while railing that people who did not read, write and speak English should not be allowed to become citizens. (That would have included a significant percentage of older Cuban voters in South Florida.) Only in the Jewish media, including Haaretz (and the fanatically right wing Fox News) did anyone think that Giuliani stood a chance in Florida. Nor did Rosner ever explain why his panel thought Giuliani, among all the US candidates, would be "best for Israel," besides Rudy`s irresponsible rhetoric on handling Iran. (The panel`s point system also attempted to measure factors like "feeling" on a 1-5 scale, for which it gave Rudy maximum points and Obama the least.) The facts have spoken! |
