I, along with several others, have tried unsuccessfully to speak logically to members of anti-Semitic groups on Facebook (such as "Support Palestine`s War Against Terrorism") to no avail (of course, these groups claim that they aren`t Anti-Semitic and that they are merely "anti-Zionist") .
They are not interested in historical fact or hearing the other side of the story.
This type of communication is toxic.
I think the Israeli government should hire PR people to go on to the FB sites and counter all the hateful propaganda being spewed against Israel and the "Zionist regime"--this is a full time job. |
