| All of Israels PM`s have one overriding ambition which surpasses all other ambitions. They want to avoid being the one who begins a large scale Israeli withdrawal from the west bank. This means that they must avoid peace, while seeming to be in favor of peace. This is the central theme of Israeli politics. |
