| He seems to be saying that the argument that Olmert puts forth that the stability of the government is important for reasons of security is a false one because the Syria operation was planned before Barak became defense minister. He is also making the separate argument that this team has proved incompetent when dealing with Hamas. He wants a pm who is competent and not corrupt. He fails to tell us who that might be. I cannot think of anyone myself, although I agree that Olmert should go. He cannot even claim anymore that the Americans will do something about Iran, and therefore he is needed in his role as the decider`s "friend." This last part is my addition. |
