What if the IDF stayed the hell out of the Occupied Territories so that teenagers would not feel obliged to throw rocks at them? What if Israel retreated to the 1967 line and gave the Palestinians the freedom that Israel took from them? What if the nightmare of occupation came to an end? What if Israel did not cause more and more hatred among the Palestinians?
What if there was truly justice? What if Israel were held to account for the illegal 40 year occupation and for the deaths of thousands of Palestinians?
Maybe, just maybe, there would be a better world and a better Middle East. And there would certainly be a lot fewer teenagers murdered by Israel. |
