Title:None Would Be Too Many

When the head of the Canadian Immigration department was asked how many Jewish refugees Canada would take after the war, he replied none would be too many. This was not apathy, it was racism.

Forget the fact that the Allies did not bomb the train lines to the death camps. Canada and the United States and most other countries shut their borders to Jewish Refugees before and during world war two knowing that the refugees were facing death if they were not permitted to emigrate.

In the end Canada only took 5000 refugees, the USA 50,000. They could have taken millions.

Germany would have, and offered, to expell Jews to other countries if other countries would take them. Millions could have been saved if the allies would have opened their borders to refugees.
