| It would have been nice had Munich delayed the Carnival, especially as it`s a German national day of remembrance. They didn`t and it`s not the end of the world. Tisha be`Av is a regular day for most Jews, too, even in Israel. On the one hand, the Holocaust is so much in mind that we have Anne Frank in a kefiya and a Hitler cat, on the other hand Jewish groups protest several times a week against the slightest perceived slight, "lest the world forget." If I were a goy, I`d certainly resent being hit over the head with Jewish sensitivity again and again and again. |
