It does not serve Jewish or Israeli interests to attempt to force people of other nations to participate in Jewish holidays, festivals or "rememberance days". People that are inclined to do so can participate without outside pressure. People who are not so inclined can not be made to participate and attempts to do this will reflect poorly upon the Jews.
