Pakistan and Israel should establish formal ties. Both nations would benefit: Pakistan has always been worried about the close military relations between Israel and India, such ties would be tempered if Israel and Pakistan were no longer enemies (India wouldn`t be happy though). Both nations also have a common enemy: Islamic terrorism, especially Al-Qaida, and both could work together to counter the terrorist threat. Economic, agriculture and cultural ties would also be of immense benefit to Israel and Pakistan as well. Such a move would also help move the peace process along.
The only people who would object to such a progressive and welcomed development are the enemies of peace. You see of a lot of them posting here on Talkback. Dutch, Clickfool, Durson, POP and Indrajaya are but a few examples.
President Musharraf, I respectfully implore that you immediately establish diplomatic, cultural, economic and military relations with Israel. Israel is ready, willing and able to do so. |
