| Comes from Messiah`s prayer for all believers: "I have made You known to them, and will continue to make You known in order that the love You have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them." John 17:26 Those "in" Jacob, would therefore be those in the Word God gave to Jacob, ie., the children of Israel, through Moses - The Law, God`s Law. The law of which God has redeemed us from. Does this mean we no longer have to follow the law? NO. It means God`s own righteousness has saved us from the consequences of His law, through FAITH in HIS righteousness. Anyone have a different understanding? |
