| Much to the surprise of Israelis used to bombing a defenceless Palestinian population in Gaza. During Lebanon 2 Israeli soldiers also died. As a ratio to Lebanese who died the IDF got off lightly, but for a country used to not having to pay the cost of going to war 113 lives lost in the IDF was a serious shock to the system. |
