Solution of the Arab Israeli conflict will only be found when we apply UNSC Resolution 242. This resolution does not call for the establishment of a Palestinian state, because the composers of the resolution were aware of the fact that no such state will ever be a variable economic entity. Therefore, it is time for Egypt to assume responsibility for the Gaza Strip and apply its sovereignty there and for Jordan to do the same with regard to the West Bank, both in coordination and based on a peace agreement with Israel. This is the essence of 242 that has been the basis for all the peace talks and agreements to this day.
