It was after all israel`s decision to not talk to hamas and to not have a cease fire. The quassams are merely a normal response to assassinations which israel goes on carrying with impunity day in, day out. Not only that, but isn`t it more than a little suspicious how these Quassams never hit anyone or cause a whole lot of damage? one wonders whether they do not serve israel`s goals better than hamas`.
Under the circumstance, the blockafde turning gaza into a gulag is illegal and inhumane. Egypt should not condone or cooperate in this revolting actions by the israelis who try to choke off the palestinians, using hamas as convenient excuse.
Hamas IS the legitimate government of Palestine. Israel can negotiate with hamas if it wants the border controlled.
BTW, what terror the editorial is talking about? from hungry children? the sick? or just people craving liberty? So it was a great prison break out. But the inmates were not criminals or terrorists. Just regular humans israel hates. |
