Obama beat Hillary in Iowa (95 % of inhabitants white), he almost beat her in New Hampshire, and he most probably would have beaten her among whites in Nevada, namely if you take away the Latino vote for Hillary there. No Mike, I`m afraid the good old times when the Democratic establishment "spin-machine" was able to fool "mainstream" America are over now. The white seniors, the Latinos and the Jewish establishment within the Democratic constituency may be able to "spoil the party" one more time (at least if they are dumb enough to hand over the Republicans another easy victory in November....). But the "party" will come, even it takes a few more years. And the lobby groups and special interests in Washington D.C. better buy warm clothes.... It may get (much) colder for them soon. |
