Israel`s policy has been to blockade Gaza and isolate Hamas as a way to decrease rockets being fired. Rockets have since increased and Hamas has bolstered with the opening of its international border with Egypt. Talks will be held soon in Cairo over the administration of this border with Hamas.
It is quite clear that Israeli policy is not working but is having the exact opposite effect, it has also been an effective PR machine for the Palestinian movement as it has highlighted the ever-present Israeli occupation of Gaza. Israel you are your own worst enemy. |
