Gazan, that is a perfect analogy. To this day, the Russians refuse to admit that the 1932-1934 campaign which deprived all freedom-loving Ukrainian peasants of crops, machinery, animals and all other means to grow food was anything but an accidental mismanagement of a new system. After all, only 6,000,000 Ukrainians died. And, as Abe Foxman commented when Mel Gibson mentioned the Ukrainian famine as an atrocity as bad as the Jewish deaths by the Nazis, it is far better to die of starvation than be cremated in an oven for being Jewish. Sigh.
