City: FrankfurtState: Germany
Compared with the German-Jewish relationship, which is one of tragedy and persecutions, the German-Palestinian connection is a true love affair. It was most visible when the Palestinian leader, the Great Mufti was a special guest of Hitler and Berlin and asked for assistance in order to bring the Holocaust to Palestine. Later on, when Arafat, a relative of the Mufti, was the most frequent guest in East Berlin, various terror attacks against Jewish institutions were planned and executed together with the secret services there. Again later on, the new Greater Germany helped to finance PLO terror and paid for Palestinian school books which incited for hate. There were no maps in these books that would show the State of Israel, Jews were treated as followers of the infamous Protocols of Zion. On the other hand, the book Mein Kampf by Hitler can be found in nearly every Palestinian book shop. The German-Palestinian relationship can be called a true mutual love affair.
