During the past weeks and months I`ve occasionally added my nonsense to Haaretz talkback, but there were only few people I had the will and desire to convince them about it as much as I liked to do in your case. Indeed, I remember the Jewish community in Francfort is heavily protected. Some years ago, during a university course in language education in Marburg, I was interested in observing a Hebrew course in the Jewish elementary school in Francfort and the secretary of the VHS gave me the phone number of a teacher that after a while I even managed to reach by phone. But it was such an adventure to already get past the doorman and I felt so external and "naked" (since you mention that fig leaf) that I didn`t finally dare asking what I was actually interested in and gave it up altogether.
