Apparantly this modus operandi is quite well known throughout Europe. Once the clients information has been downloaded, the hackers then have credit cards issued through friends, including I.D. documents and voila, some poor dude has lost his money and finds himself in debt for purchases way beyond his means. They even place cameras tiny cameras in the ATM machines to read pin codes and relevant information to reproduce debit cards.I understand that cyber terrorism, extorting money from companies is an ongoing threat. At least someone woke up in Israel and informed Bank Leumi. The Bank should have warning systems in place to protect its clients.
