What would you like to do with the majority of the Israeli Jews who are NOT of European descent? Should we go back to their previous homelands, too? Should we go back to Yemen and Iraq, to Morrocco and Algeria? Will Egypt take us back with open arms? Or Iran? Will we get back the property we were forced to leave behind?
No, the Jews who came here as a result of the Holocaust in Europe aren`t going back, and neither are the rest of us. Let`s move forward towards peace in this land from this point onward, not from some imagined point in the past. |
