The fall of the border between Gaza and Egypt is a "crisis" for Abbas because it shows once again how ineffective the PA has been in safeguarding the basic welfare of Palestinians in Gaza. The outcome of the Rafah border will be that Hamas will repair it with the assistance of Egypt and will be charged with its orderly control, leaving no room for the PA. Abu Mazen`s complete inaction is the death of the PA.
As for Livni not sticking to any US timetables for peace I dont believe her and there are 30 billion reasons why. |
