The Arab Legue wont be happy with any deal other than the Saudi plan.
It doesnt matter what Olmert gives or what the Americans tell him to give unless its their plan they wont be interested because other than giving the palestians everything they want their plan give the arabs every inch of territory captured in 1967 including E.Jerusalem and the Old City and in return they will suddenly discover Israel actualy exists.
This will also be just the begining if Israel accept the Saudi plan because it will have sureneded to arab demands after 60 years and the arabs will know if the package it right they will be able to get anything out of Israel in future. |
