| In Davos, we have heard Livni saying that the content of the negotiations between Olmert and Abbas must not be made public. Understandable. But the question must be asked publically:what kind of two state solution does israel envision? We know what the palestinians are asking for, but not Israel. It is not an academic question to ask how such a solution is possible when Israel has declared that its larege blocs of colonies are not up for discussion and Jerusalem will remain only a zionist enclave extending far out into Palestinian territory. So, how then, with its inaction in removing even the remotest of squatter shanties and its maps of disjointed Palestinian enclaves does it plan to implement a 2 state solution? |
