Yep johnny, you are right! I came to the article because of the headline..and it that puts a few cents into HaAretz` coffers, thats fine..but there are other costs and prices involved..like loss of integrity.
How much do minority studies suffer at our universities, how much does Israeli archeology cover periods that relate to these minorities?? How much effort does the university establishemt invest to increase staff from minorities? etc etc These are valid questions- and i imagine the answers are complex..
Why create the impression (that will be burnt into the minds of readers) that the judgement is in..
A good headline is one that draws us into the article and prepares us for its content...it is not a pretty girl advertising an automobile. |
