Please excuse the cynicism, but I often read articles such as these ones publsihed from Haaretz with the feeling that an all white school from a neighborhood of Klu Klux Klan activists, let in a couple of black kiddies to demonstrate to the equal opportunity board that they are not racist.
If you (Haaretz) want to heal the wounds of the very clear anti-religious rift that exists from the secular movement and that you propagate within your many anti-religious articles, a change at the core level needs to be implemented. The religious call it "Sinat Chinam". It needs to be changed and both sides (secular and religeius) have a lot of work to do here. |
