The protest is over International Holocaust Day which was created by the U.N. So you are saying that you don`t think these other holocausts should be honored? By the way, most holidays are just "made-up" days. I`d be curious to hear which other holidays you`d consider this carnival for. How about Christmas? Perhaps Easter? Those are pretty much made-up days as well. Seems like the carnival though has a lot of flexibility and since the Germans already have a slew (no pun intended of course) of holidays in which to drink their glueywine (spelling), I am sure they will survive. Hoisting one to you though and I will be involved in activities myself for international Holocaust day myself not at a carnival. |
