The Israeli soldiers and Lebanese civilians were victims of a war that was run by the Israeli bureaucrats instead of Israeli generals. Mission accomplished would have been the destruction of Hezbolla. Sadly, many died in vain on both sides (Lebanese and Israeli). In a war there will always be civilian casualties and that is why you must defeat the enemy with overwhelming force and speed. Remember the 6-Day war? How angry was the world at Israel then for doing the right thing! |
