| Once upon a time, Israels PR and spin machine was the best in the world. There was no such thing as truth and falsehood, there was only image and reputation. The machine is still in place, but it has grown less effective with each passing day. The fact that Israel attempts to place spin upon every issue is well known and these days, people take any announcement out of Israel with more than a grain of salt. This decay of Israels PR and spin capability is all the more aggravating because of Nasrallah. Nasrallah doesn`t engage in spin and his announcements are infrequent. He only deals in facts and his timing is impeccable. He has the worlds ear, and most especially, he has Israels attention every time he opens his mouth. Obviously, this does not go down well with Yoel Marcus who has indulged himself here with a bit of a rant, not only against Hasrallah, but against any IDF men so foolish as to allow themselves to be captured while "daydreaming". |
