to push the Palestinians back away from the fence and level the area adjacent to Israel, say by about .5 to 1 kilometer. If the missiles stop, then return the area to them. If they want peace, then help them rebuild.
This would be much more effective even though the Palestinians would initially claim this as a land grab and a humanitarian crisis.
Sometimes it is not important what others think when the survival of your countrymen is at stake and you know you are morally correct.
It is amazing how much clout Hamas has with the International Community while Hamas are claiming to be isolated. |
