| Barak says: "Israel cannot be defeated militarily", "...wants a proper peace", "...is prepared to kill to protect its vital interests." In the common vernacular, this translates to: Israel is king of the hill - for now; will accept only a peace dictated by Israel; will kill anyone who stands in its way - for as long as it can. Let`s see now. Napoleon lasted a few years, Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo perhaps a few more. And Stalin! Can`t forget Stalin! He was around for quite a while! But each of these built an empire! Like Bush wants to do. Can Tiny Israel do the same? Oh, well, one militarist government is as bad as another, I suppose - for as long as it lasts. But for heavens sake, Barak has plagarized Bush`s favorite phrase: "vital interests"! He should be sued! |
